Our Approach
We believe every child is unique with limitless potential. Our approach is rooted in developmentally appropriate practices that foster emotional, social, intellectual, and physical growth. Teachers guide exploration through play, creativity, and discovery—while parents remain active partners in the journey.
We are proud to offer weekly music education to all Shoreline children as studies have shown early music education can provide a wide array of cognitive, social, and emotional benefits. The weekly sessions are tailored to the ages of each classroom, providing the children with an opportunity to play different instruments, sing, dance and more.
Additionally, children in our young pre-school and pre-kindergarten classes receive weekly computer education where they learn basic skills. These classrooms also have the opportunity to participate in several field trips throughout the school year visiting nearby playgrounds or splash pads, taking in a play at local children’s theaters, visiting a farm and more.
At Shoreline ECDC, each classroom is tailored to meet the developmental needs of children at every stage, from infancy through pre-kindergarten. Our small class sizes and low teacher-to-child ratios ensure personalized attention and meaningful learning experiences.
